CLEP
Exams now Computer-Based
The
College Board recently announced that all College-Level Examination
Program (CLEP) tests will be administered via computer and will
provide students with instant score results. Since 1967, the College
Board has offered paper CLEP exams that enable students to demonstrate
proficiency and receive college credit, or exemption from requirements
in numerous subject areas. The new technology will allow testing
centers to offer the exams more frequently.
“For
students who have acquired college-level knowledge through on-the-job
experience, independent study, or advanced high school classes,
CLEP exams are an ideal way to save time and money,” said Ariel
Foster, Associate Director of CLEP at the College Board.#
