This week, we celebrated the achievements of more than 1,400 graduates from The Young Women's Leadership Schools (TYWLS) of Astoria, East Harlem, and Queens and from CollegeBound Initiative (CBI) partner schools across New York City.
The Class of 2014 is college-bound! With your help:
Nearly 100% of TYWLS graduating seniors have been accepted to college!
More than 93% of CBI graduating seniors have been accepted to college!
Students were accepted to colleges such as Barnard, Fordham, Gettysburg, Notre Dame, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Rochester, and Wheaton College!
Five seniors won Posse Scholarships - full tuition awards of $100,000+ to attend college!
Your support changes our students' lives. Yahaira learned to never give up, even when the college application process was challenging. Justin's hope for the future was fulfilled when he realized his dream of being accepted to college.
