Pulitzer Nominee Dr. Charles Martin Receives Translation Award
The Academy of American Poets has announced that Dr. Charles
F. Martin, a Professor in the Basic Skills Department of Queensborough
Community College of the City University of New York, is co-winner
of the Academy's 2004 Harold Morton Landon Translation Award
for his translation of Ovid's Metamorphoses,
published by W.W. Norton.
