The 92nd Street Y

A home for learning for over 127 years, the 92nd Street Y is a great place for kids and teens to learn something new while having fun and making new friends. There is something for every child at the Y.

Young feet catch the hip-hop groove or float like a graceful ballerina in our dance classes. Budding artists learn how to make their own pottery and sculptures, jewelry or cartoons and comic strips. Kids fill their homes with the beautiful melodies from our classes, like acoustic guitar, piano, violin and voice. Finally, for those who prefer to learn more active skills, the Y offers a range of sports and fitness opportunities, including tumbling tots, yoga, Pilates, kickboxing, gymnastics and group sports like basketball and tennis.

In addition, we offer science, arts and movement classes for babies and toddlers and their parents or caregivers to enjoy together. There are also afterschool and Sunday programs for children and teens ages 4-20 with developmental disabilities. Supervised classes include art, science, music, yoga, sports, computers and Judaic studies. Call 212.415.5626 for information. These are only a few of the hundreds of learning opportunities we offer. Call 212.415.5500 for information, a catalog and to register for classes.
