About Dr. Jerrold Ross

Jerrold Ross is dean of the School of Education at St. John's University. He holds a Ph.D. in Education from New York University and an Honorary Doctor of Human Letters from Emerson College for his work in arts education. He is a member of the New York State Commissioner's Teacher Education Advisory Group and the New York City Chancellor's Task Force on Arts Education.

Dr. Ross has been the recipient of research and training funding from the Rockefeller, J.P. Morgan Chase, Andrew W. Mellon foundations and the National Foundation for the Arts and United States Office of Education.
