To the Editor:
Self-serving tripe. The North profited from slavery just as much as the South, and was not particularly inclined to abolish it until the fear of slave revolts overwhelmed them, particularly in NYC. For a more accurate view of Northern slavery and hypocrisy, see www.slavenorth.com.

I work at a school that serves a population similar to the Steven Gaynor School. The only difference is we serve a population that is severely underserved. I would be very interested in learning more about how the school meets the everyday challenges for kids with a learning disability. This would help me better serve the students who I teach on a daily basis at The Lorge School

My nephews are looking into financial assistance for college, both have good grades, ages 19 and 21. Their father is serving 23 years in prison for murder, and the family is in serious financial trouble. How can we get help?

I am a student at IPFW in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I have a friend who is visually impaired and she has been trying to take the praxis test since August. It is unbelievable that with the amount of recourses that are available and technology at this time she cannot get an accommodation.
