I would like to know of any programs
for high school students that want to pursue a career in medicine.
I’m
currently a sophomore at Clara Barton High School in Brooklyn,
NY. I would like to know about the SETH at Mount Sinai.

Dear Jillian,
There are programs for high
school students at Brooklyn College in collaboration with Downstate
Medical School; Sophie Davis has a 6-year program for a BA/MD
degree for high school graduates. These are programs you must
apply for at the beginning of your junior year. Rockefeller
University in NYC has summer programs for high school students.
Consult your guidance counselor for more options. Good luck!
