Dear Teachers and Administrators: On January 1, 2002 the fiscal year for the New York City Board of Education began! It is at this time that budgets and vendors’ lists are formulated and released. As we enter the new year, we give thanks for all that we have and might have lost. We also reflect on what we hold so dear: the education of our children.
